Frequently Asked Questions

What is the minimum duration I can stay for?

As we are a holiday let, the minumum you can book your stay for is 5 nights.

What is the maximum duration I can stay for?

We cover holiday and long term lets of up to 5 months.

What is included in a welcome pack?

In your welcome pack you shall recieve: tea, coffee, bread, butter, jams & spreads, fresh eggs, milk, juice and a map of the local area.

Can you arrange airport or seaport & ferry transfers?

Yes, if you let us know upon booking your stay, we have our own trusted private hire service to transfer you to the accomodation.

What is in the local area?

Please see the "Local Area" section of the website. Your holiday accomodation is based in Heyshott, West Sussex.

Can I bring my dog?

We don't allow pets as a first rule, however, if you have a well behaved dog, please get in touch and we shall see if we can accomodate.

Do I have to pay a deposit?

Yes. A deposit of 50% of the total price is required up front. The remaining balance can be paid within 30 days before your stay.

If I cancel my booking can I get a refund?

Cancellation fee 100% non-refundable if cancellation is made within 14 days of your intended arrival. A cancellation fee of 50% if you cancel in 15 days or more prior to your stay.

Do you cater for children and babies?

Sadly we are unable to cater for young children or babies.

How do we pick up the keys?

After the booking has been paid in full, you will receive a pre-arrival email which includes confirmation of the booking information, travel directions and how to pick up the keys for the property.

Do you offer holiday insurance?

We do not offer holiday insurance, but we do recommend taking it out to protect against unforeseen circumstances.

Will there be WiFi internet at the property?

Our property includes complimentary access to Wi-Fi. The password, where applicable, can be found in the property.

When do we need to vacate the property?

We kindly request that you vacate your property by 10am on your day of departure, unless specifically agreed otherwise.

Do you offer catering at the property?

Yes. We can offer private catering as an extra onto your package. Please let us know upon booking if you require this service.

Can I have guests visit me or stay at the property?

We allow guests to visit you, but they cannot stay at the property overnight as we are unable to supply the extra room and bedding.

Can the welcome pack be adjusted for dietry reasons?

Yes. If you have any allergies, intollerances, etc, please get in touch prior to your booking and we can accomodate this.

Can you arrange takeaways or shopping?

Yes. We can organise and order it for you. We can even go and collect it for a fee. Please get in touch to arrange.

Are there many local pubs in the the area?

We have many local pubs in the area. The closest one in walking distance is The Unicorn Inn a two minute walk away. Please see our "Local Area" section to see a lists of bars and restaurants in the area.

Are we close to the beach?

Not too far away! We have several beaches that are a short drive away. Climping beach is around 35-40 minutes by car.

Are there many local events on?

All year round there are events around the local area. From large events at Goodwood to smaller live music events at the local pubs and bars.
