Petworth
The beautiful market town of Petworth is known to be the antiques capital of the UK. Petworth is a centre for arts and culture, along with it's famous historical house and park, and is just under 2 miles away. Spend a day looking around Petworth House and Deer Park, antique shops and a enjoy a quiet lunch at one of the local pubs or cafes.

Midhurst
Midhurst is another beautiful historic market town a little further on from Petworth, nestled within the South Downs National Park.
Midhurst has wide streets with a good sense of space, striking buildings, unusual shops and an interesting history. The town is closely associated with the Cowdray Estate, famous for the ruins of Cowdray House. Midhurst lies on the River Rother 20 miles inland from the English Channel.

Goodwood
Both Goodwood Racecourse, Motor Circuit and House are 7-8 miles away across the South Downs. We are a perfect place to stay for the many events they hold. Not to mention the private chauffeur service we offer. Goodwood is famous for its horse racing and motoring events throughout the year, they also have restaurants, a spa and the art collection at Goodwood House and the home of dog festival, Goodwoof!

Chichester
Just a mile down the road from Glorious Goodwood, Chichester is a Roman cathedral city and the only city in West Sussex. It has a plethora of grade II listed buildings and other points of interest include the Chichester City Cross which is a type of butter market and sits in the centre of North, East, South and West streets. The city is mostly pedestrianised so it makes shopping and dining a pleasant experience.

An historic town full of independent shops, contemporary art galleries, restaurants, cafes, delightful drinking spots as well as the famous Arundel Medieval Castle, Swanbourne Lake and Roman Catholic Cathedral (seat of The Dukes of Norfolk) along with the Arundel Wetland Centre if you're after some family fun.

Three quaint stunning villages nestled at the foot of the south downs.
Heyshott, where our Pescadoras Holiday Home is located, is a scenic little village right at the foot of the south downs. So close you can see the spectacular scenery from your back garden. Next door is the little village of Graffham, perfect horse riding, walking and cycling country. Full of character and several local attractions to check out. Selham is a small hamlet approximately 2 miles from Heyshott and 1 mile from Graffham. It has a beautiful country pub, a church, a campsite and the best walking routes around. All three villages boast the most scenic views and walking trails around.
